BEEF TIPS
I love Beef Tips, especially Texas Roadhouse's Beef Tips. So, of course I had to look it up on Pinterest and see if I could find a recipe. I based this recipe loosely on the two recipes below.

I actually made these last Sunday, but am just getting around to posting it now. It also made great leftovers!
Ingredients:
1 lb steak, cut into cubes
1 onion, diced
1 tub mushrooms, sliced
1 cup milk
1 cup beef broth
1/3 cup white wine
1/2 cup flour
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup water
Minced garlic
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Salt
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Egg Noodles
Olive Oil
Prepare the egg noodles per package directions. Drain, stir with olive oil and set aside.
Cut up steak, onion and mushrooms.
Mix flour, salt, pepper and seasonings. Dredge steak pieces in the flour (keep the remaining flour to use later).
Saute with olive oil until medium rare.
Add onions and cook until softened. Add butter to the pan and then add the mushrooms. Cook until the mushrooms begin to color, then remove all to the pan and keep warm.
Deglaze the pan with the wine, making sure to loosen any browned bits and let it reduce a little.
Add the beef broth (I used chicken because it was all I had) and milk and bring to a boil.
Return the meat, onion and mushrooms to the pan. Simmer, covered for 15-20 minutes.
Mix 2 tbsp of reserved flour with 1/4 cup water and stir with whisk. Add to the simmering broth and let the sauce thicken.
Serve the tips over egg noodles (or mashed potatoes or rice).
I served with fresh green beans cooked in the same style as I do asparagus (http://sherryandjesseskitchen.blogspot.com/2014/03/simple-sauteed-asparagus-my-brother.html), except I added a little bit of water to the pan after a few minutes.
It was delicious!
